What is Interact?

Interact is Rotary International’s service club for middle and high school ages (12-18). Interact clubs, while sponsored by individual Rotary clubs for support and guidance, are self-governing and self-supporting. Many are typically found within a school district, they can consist of multiple community schools or as an outside entity.

Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects annually to further international understanding and goodwill. These efforts allow Interactors to develop friendships locally and internationally with clubs from around the world.

Along with these skills, the also develop and learn the importance of:
• Leadership skills and personal integrity
• Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
• Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
• Advancing international understanding and goodwill
